Your catalogue stays
in your browser.

Uploaded files are read into memory and parsed and compared in a browser Web Worker. CSV contents are not uploaded to our server or sent to analytics. Reports are generated locally. No catalogue database or account is created.

Retention and storage

Files, mappings, results and approvals are held for the current page session. Refresh or reset clears the application's references. This is not a guarantee of secure memory erasure. Downloads remain on your device. SkuTidy does not set cookies or use local storage, session storage or persistent identifiers. Your browser may cache website assets.

Optional usage measurement

Measurement is off by default. When configured by the operator, it starts only after you opt in on the comparison page and applies to that page visit. Unchecking stops future events and removes the traffic-measurement frame; requests already sent cannot be recalled.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, if enabled, runs in a sandboxed frame with no access to your catalogue page. It measures visits to that frame and its performance; it is not a precise count of all site visits. It receives normal network metadata such as an IP address when handling a request. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage for tracking. See Cloudflare's analytics information.

If an operator configures an existing first-party event collector, the application sends only one fixed event name: page view, example loaded, comparison started/completed/failed, comparison report downloaded, exception report downloaded, or premium interest clicked. It sends no filenames, SKUs, product names, prices, supplier names, raw error messages or uploaded contents. Requests omit credentials and referrers. No collector or database is supplied with this static application.

Hosting and third parties

The host may process normal access logs, including IP addresses and requested website asset paths. This is separate from file processing. Optional analytics may use Cloudflare's beacon service. No third-party tracker runs on the catalogue document. Remote error reporting is not installed; processing errors appear locally.

Your choices and rights

You can use the comparison without analytics, decline optional measurement, clear the page session and delete your downloaded reports. Depending on your location and the operator's processing, privacy rights may include access, correction, deletion or objection. Direct enquiries to the operator using the contact page. A configured collector requires the operator to publish its identity, purpose, retention period and rights process before public launch.

This notice describes the implementation; it is not legal certification. Operator identity, contact details, analytics retention and applicable local requirements must be reviewed before public launch.
